This social networking site is still in early development and topics for open forums are only limited by our members’ imaginations.

If you are 18 years of age or older please drop by and say hello. To receive your free website which includes a discussion forum, guest book and private chat room all you have to do is create a handle at the Hideaway and post to the Support Board requesting your free “limited” membership. If you mention coupon code HECKOFIT when you post your request you will receive a free one-month Full Membership.

While the Hideaway is NOT a porn site, the Hideaway is a community which has been specifically designed for adults and as such some of the community pages may not be family friendly or safe for the workplace. Please be 18 or over if you decide to drop by and pay us a visit. We’d love to have you join us at the Hideaway, where community, contribution and collaboration is a way of life.

I agreed to do a side bar link exchange with a mom reviews blog. I don’t see my link on their side bar anymore. I don’t mind them changing their mind but I think the courteous thing would be to let me know they were taking my link down so I could do the same.

I saw this little quiz over at Julie’s Journal so of course I had to take it too. Here are my results. Not a surprise there, I’m a purist because I totally hate ads on my blog. Every once in a while I get a wild hair and put up some ads but they annoy me so much I eventually remove them.

I got a MINUS 3 for sociability and it is so true! Haha, not much I can say about that.

Here is my result:

What Kind of Blogger Are You?

Greed: 0

You’re not in this for the money, for you blogging is all about the passion! Sure you might make a little pocket change now and again, but you know that it’s the content, the audience and the people that are what makes blogging great!

Experience: 2

You’ve been blogging since Nick Denton was in diapers. When it comes to blogging experience, you are the authority on blogging. Heck you probably even have a blog where you give advice about blogging!

Sociability: -3

Social media, other bloggers, networks and all that jazz don’t really interest you. You have enough friends in the real world, you don’t need more. You blog because you want to express yourself not to meet bloggers!

Whee… I was beginning to feel left out since so many popular and self-important bloggers have lost a little Google Page Ranking (John Chow, Darren Rouse, Shoemoney & Andy Beard to name a few)…

Every time I checked my PR with the Google Tool bar (you would think their own tool bar would be accurate!) it was holding steady at PR3, however today when I checked the average over several data centers it appears that I have dropped to PR2…

Oh, well… I say 2 is the new 3! People will just have to adjust their mindsets is what this really amounts to… *shrug*

The spaghetti was pretty good. I think I could have done a better job but any meal I don’t have to cook myself is a good meal. I thought the spaghetti came out a little on the dry side. I prefer mine with lots of rich red sauce. There were plenty of onions and mushrooms but hubby cut the onions a bit on the large side and a tad al dente. I don’t like onions in my spaghetti that I can crunch down on. Well, they weren’t crunchy but I like mine cooked soft. The meatballs were okay but they weren’t spicy enough to suit me, especially when I drink beer.

Speaking of beer, after all my griping and complaining I didn’t even finish my second beer. After I ate my spaghetti and meatballs and garlic bread I still had one quarter beer left. Bleh. I poured myself a glass of Minute Maid lemonade instead. I gave the rest of my beer to the guzzler who was happy to get it. Next time he had better buy two six packs to keep the peace around here though. You never know, one day I might really drink three.

Later we’ll have Breyers chocolate ice cream while we watch TV. And that’s the way we have a big party at our house! hehe

What the heck??? So hubby gets a wild hair and decides to cook spaghetti and meatballs. While the 2 pounds of ground chuck is defrosting in the microwave he comes into the computer room and says “ya know, I think I’ll go to to the Stop and Rob and get some beer, bread for garlic bread and ice cream”. So I said okay, sounds good to me and we’ll have a party.

Now, we seldom drink beer or any other alcoholic beverage but today for some reason I guess we both just felt like it. So my question is this - why in the heck did he only buy one six pack???. I mean come on, he knows he drinks more than three beers, and while I normally only drink two myself I do like the option of knowing I can drink three if I want to.

So he waltzed in a few minutes ago and asked me “do you mind if I drink 4 beers instead of 3″? I’m like, what the??? Why didn’t you buy 2 six-packs? He said he didn’t know, he was in a hurry to come home and make me a nice spaghetti dinner. LOL I really buy that excuse. I just don’t know where his head was.

So I’m on my second beer and of course I let him have one of mine. Arrgh… I seldom drink but I figure if I’m going to do it I might as well do it. I told him if he ever came home again with only one six-pack I was going to make him turn around and go get another one. dang. So now I’d like another beer but neither of us will drive to get more since we’ve already had a few. Oh well, I’ll get over it and I’m sure it is for the best anyway.
